Our History

Integrated Modern Environmental Control Sdn. Bhd. (IMEC) was incorporated in 2005, to start business and scope of activities as a “Total Integrated Solutions Provider” in resolving water and environmental challenges and issues. Our multidiscipline skills in providing complete project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance services, human-centric and innovative approach, coupled without commitment towards health and safety, quality and the environment, make us a trusted and reliable partner for all water treatment and environmental related needs.

ISO

With its ISO certification, IMEC meets certain quality standard that allowed us to gain business from customers who are required to do business with ISO certified suppliers. Being an ISO certified company allows us to expand our market and attract potential customer that may not be familiar with us. The certification acts as an assurance that our services are meets the requirements of ISO, a particularly well known ISO standard, and it reviewed yearly by an independent auditor. Our company was certified by the ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. It can be used by any organisation, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. This standard is based on several quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. These principles are explained in more detail in ISO’s quality management principle. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

QUALITY POLICY

It is IMEC policy to implement, maintain and continually improve environmentally sound practices to minimize that environmental impact. The Company has established operating practices to:

• Ensure that managed project is operated in accordance with applicable legislation and another requirement

• Employ personnel who are able to effectively supervise and carry out environmental protection as defined in the operating procedures

• Emphasize pollution prevention

• Continuously seek improvement related to environmental protection by reducing theenergy consumption where applicable and minimizing wastes

• Set objectives and targets and continuallymonitor progress

ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Requirements. This international standard will give organizations a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions, all over the world. It follows other management system approaches such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and considers other International Standards in this area such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labour Organization’s ILO-OSH Guidelines, various national standards and the ILO’s international labour standards and conventions.
